From first swings to becoming a GolfStar
GolfStars is a progressive coaching programme designed to guide young golfers from their very first introduction to the game through to confident full course play, and those who choose to pursue it, competitive performance golf.
The programme combines fun, structure and clear progression, helping every golfer understand where they are on their journey and what they are working towards.

At the heart of GolfStars, our mission is to help every young golfer fall in love with the game, develop skills they can carry with them for life, both on and off the course, all while discovering what they are truly capable of!
Whether their journey leads to social golf with friends and family, opportunities later in life through business, or competitive golf at the highest level, every player is supported to reach their full potential and their own unique version of a GolfStar.
The why behind GolfStars
GolfStars was created to help young golfers discover a genuine love for the game in a way that feels fun, inspiring and achievable.
We believe golf should be more than just learning technique. It should build confidence, spark curiosity and give children a sense of purpose, progress and belonging as they grow on and off the course.
Structured journey in golf
Through a structured, supportive and exciting pathway, GolfStars gives young players the opportunity to develop skills for life while enjoying every step of the journey.
That journey may lead to golf becoming a lifelong hobby shared with friends and family. For others, it may open the door to club, county or even higher-level golf.
Our purpose is to provide the pathway, encouragement and inspiration for every child to enjoy the game and reach their potential.

One programme
While golf is often seen as an individual sport, at Golfstars we believe it should feel like being part of a team.
Throughout the programme, we create regular opportunities for players to come together, compete, and celebrate their progress as a group. Our calendar includes a full schedule of events such as:
- The Golfstars League
- Summer Matchplay
- Matchdays and on-course events
These events are a key part of the Golfstars experience – bringing players together, creating a sense of belonging, and allowing them to apply what they have learned in a fun and supportive environment.
Matchdays also provide an important opportunity for parents to see first-hand the progress their child is making, while sharing in the enjoyment and confidence that comes from playing the game.
Graduations and key milestones are celebrated throughout, recognising each player’s journey and achievements along the way.
